    Position Overview:

    *Position is required to be on site a minimum of two days per week.

     

    Responsible for end-to-end planning, coordinating, and implementation of complex information systems and technology-related capital projects portfolio at the system level. In collaboration with senior market, strategy, and service line leaders evaluates and develops system development concepts, feasibility assessments, and project plans, which may include business cases/chartering, funding, objectives, timelines and ROI targets, aligning to the business function’s needs and Sutter’s overall strategic vision and mission. Successful development and execution of these strategies has a direct impact on Sutter’s overall performance at the local, market, and system levels. Supports a management team that interfaces with market and service line leaders and manages teams across multiple entities. Oversees business projects through validation, design, requirements gathering, planning, staffing, and implementation. Collaborates and advises on information systems and technology strategies, including new tools, software, automation, workflow and value-added enhancements to existing systems. The projects within these strategies range from small-scale projects to large-scale, high-complexity projects. Is accountable for accurate and timely reporting on projects to project sponsors, key business leaders, and adjacent technology and business leadership. Is also accountable for scope, budget, and schedule, including the coordination, monitoring, and reporting on progress against project objectives to the project sponsors and functional business leaders. Acts as a liaison between all internal and external stakeholders.

    EDUCATION:

    _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._

     

    + Bachelor’s Degree: Business Management, Finance, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management , or related field

    TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

    + 15 years recent relevant experience

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** **:

    + Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, and conflict resolution skills.

    + Superior change management skills to ensure results and planned outcomes with excellent attention to details as well identifying risks and ensuring full transparency of project health and status with sponsors.

    + Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to attract, mentor, retain, motivate, and develop a high-performance team.

    + Experience in building effective and collaborative working relationships with internal customers and functional stakeholders for successful outcomes.

    + Ability to manage multiple projects and teams, set project goals, define performance criteria and oversee direct and indirect project personnel.

    + High-level problem-solving skills with ability to anticipate problems and opportunities and execute change effectively.

    + Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile and Waterfall methodologies and understanding of full project lifecycle management and familiarity with project management tools.

    + Demonstrated negotiation skills balancing attention to details with an ability to operate strategically.

    + Ability to work with and influence senior leaders.

    + Ability to support the development of business cases and work on solutions to complex business challenges.

    + Consultative skills to gather needs and translate requests into potential solutions.

    + Client relationship management skills to maintain positive relations between info systems, stakeholders, and system level senior leadership.

    + Critical thinking and analytical skills to support complex problem solving.

    + Familiarity with computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, & Outlook.

    Pay Range is $100.43 to $160.69 / hour. Sacramento Valley Pay Range is $100.43 to $160.69 / hour. San Francisco Bay Area Pay Range is $114.13 to $182.60 / hour.

     

    _The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package._ _​_
