We have many specialized technicians in Anesthesia, Internal Medicine, and Emergency/Critical Care. Applicants should have a strong knowledge base, motivation to learn, and ambition to work in a fast-paced team environment.

As a** **Dermatology** **Veterinary** **Technician** **, you will:

+ Communicate effectively with different people in high stress situations

+ Triage and obtain patient history

+ Perform venipuncture and placing intravenous catheters

+ Utilize Dermatology terms

+ Swab for Otic Cytology, and ear mite preparation

+ Prepare for Skin Biopsy

+ Recognize alopecia, nodules and tumors

+ Perform Anesthesia monitoring

+ Perform CPR

+ Perform radiographs

+ Perform diagnostic procedures and treatments

+ Prepare prescriptions and communicate discharge orders to clients

+ Be familiar and proficient with aseptic techniques

+ Be familiar with laboratory procedures and practices
