    The Pavilion Middle/High School is seeking one part-time PE teacher to begin in the 2025-26 school year. Pavilion Central School faculty and staff work in a small, rural, family-like setting that is located less than an hour away from either Rochester or Buffalo, which makes PCS not only A Great Place to Learn, but also A Great Place to Work!

     

    The anticipated opening is for a half-time (appx. 0.5) morning PE position. Afternoon subbing and coaching opportunities will be available.

    Job Description:

    + Prepare and teach physical education in accordance with NYS curriculum and standards

    + Stay current in research-based instructional practices and pedagogy, NYS standards, assessment, and curriculum

    + Maintain and enhance collaboration with department members

    + Promote social emotional learning and restorative practices
