The Superintendent of Operations position is responsible for leading a team of employees in day-to-day operations of Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost. This includes all aspects of production demands, supply chain and personnel management. The position is instrumental with ensuring optimal throughput and production efficiencies by developing and implementing cost effective processes and equipment utilization strategies that meet production goals and objectives.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)

+ Create a zero-injury culture by building trust and reducing our tolerance for risk.

+ Manage personnel including task assignments, performance management, policy adherence and development.

+ Measure, monitor and analyze production performance in a 24x7 operating environment and make necessary adjustments to meet business objectives.

+ Research, propose and implement improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles to improve safety, quality, efficiency, costs and meet performance goals.

+ Collaborate with internal and external customers with intimate involvement in problem solving
