Assures the effective daily operation of the department.Leads the assigned cardiology practices in such tasks as quality and safety, education, maintenance and accreditation. * Leads effective daily operation of the Echocardiology Department ensuring that patient exams and physician requests are met in a timely and efficient manner. * Participates in the activities required to maintain departmental ICAEL certification assuming the role of Technical Director and the formulation of continuous quality and performance improvement plans, updated department procedures, physician and staff information, and competencies. * Graduate of an accredited Echocardiography program * Board certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) required. * Five years’ experience in Echocardiography * __State of CT Echocardiographer License * Previous lead/supervisory experience preferred With locations around the state, Hartford HealthCare offers exciting opportunities for career development and growth.
