We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power Controls & System Architect to lead and drive the development of advanced electrical power systems within automotive platforms. This role combines deep technical expertise in power control strategies, software management, and power architecture design across a range of vehicle variants including ICE, FHEV, PHEV, and EV. You will be instrumental in defining system requirements, ensuring quality and reliability, and delivering innovative, energy-efficient power management solutions for current and future PowerNet architectures.
In this position…
+ Lead the definition and refinement of system requirements for vehicle electrical power systems.
+ Design, optimize, and integrate automotive power architectures to meet rigorous performance, energy efficiency, and reliability standards.
+ Develop, calibrate, and manage core control strategies and software for power system management across multiple vehicle powertrain types.
+ Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, calibration, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless integration of power management solutions into vehicle platforms.
+ Solve complex technical challenges related to power controls, system architecture, and software calibration.
+ Influence system-level design decisions and architecture direction to align with business goals and automotive industry standards.
+ Mentor and lead engineering talent, fostering innovation, technical excellence, and knowledge sharing.
+ Ensure compliance with automotive safety, quality, and regulatory requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
You'll have…
+ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
+ A minimum of 8 years of experience in system power architecture, with a focus on automotive applications.
+ Strong understanding of automotive power management principles and technologies.
+ Experience with automotive power modeling and simulation tools.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and leadership skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
Even better, you may have…
+ Experience with automotive low-power design techniques.
+ Familiarity with automotive system-on-chip (SoC) design and integration.
+ Knowledge of automotive battery management systems and energy harvesting technologies.
+ Experience with compliance standards and regulations in the automotive industry.
