Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Software Engineer** to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Develop, maintain, and extend core components of a **modular platform framework** , including frontend interfaces and backend services.

+ Build secure, scalable APIs and microservices that enable integration between data services, visualization tools, and external systems.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data scientists, DevOps engineers, and system integrators to ensure seamless interoperability.

+ Design and implement user interfaces and workflows for data exploration and interaction, working in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).

+ Leverage **cloud-native architectures** (AWS GovCloud, Azure Government) to deploy and scale services in secure, compliant environments.

+ Participate in agile development cycles, peer reviews, and system testing to ensure code quality and platform stability.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

+ Active **TS/SCI clearance** with polygraph

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.

+ 3+ years of experience in **full-stack software development** or system-level software engineering.

+ Proficiency in backend languages like **Python, Java, or Node.js** , and frontend frameworks such as **React or Angular** .

+ Experience building and consuming **RESTful APIs** , working with message queues, and integrating third-party services.

+ Solid understanding of **microservices architecture** , containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD practices.

+ Familiarity with **cloud platforms** , especially AWS or Azure, and modern deployment pipelines.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

+ Familiarity with federal data security standards and DoD/DHS software compliance frameworks.

+ Experience integrating with data storage solutions (e.g., S3, RDS, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

+ Exposure to DevSecOps workflows and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).

+ Understanding of authorization/authentication standards (OAuth2, OpenID, SAML).

Security Clearance Requirement:

An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.​

Salary Range: $100,900.00 - $176,600.00
