Content Marketing Manager
Job Description:
We’re hiring a Content Marketing Manager to help build and scale high-impact, hyper-targeted content that drives brand awareness and demand generation across key micro-verticals in North America.
As part of Sage’s Global Content Marketing team, you’ll report to the Senior Content Strategist and work closely with our Industry Marketing and Performance Marketing leads. Your mission? To produce engaging, insight-led content that supports full-funnel campaigns for Sage Intacct and other strategic products, tailored to verticals, including SaaS, nonprofit, professional services, and healthcare.
This is a hands-on content creation role with a strong strategic component. You’ll be responsible for developing a variety of content formats, from thought leadership reports and blogs, to webinar scripts, video treatments, podcasts, landing pages, emails, and social media copy. You’ll be expected to create high-quality content efficiently, making smart use of generative AI tools to scale production without compromising editorial quality.
We’re looking for curious, resourceful marketers who understand the end-to-end B2B buyer journey and are excited to shape content that connects with specific industry audiences. You should have a sharp editorial eye, a collaborative mindset, and a desire to experiment with AI-driven processes to deliver content faster and better.
This is a hybrid role – three days per week in our Atlanta office.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce high-quality, multi-format content tailored to specific industries and verticals.
• Collaborate with industry, product, and performance marketing teams to align content with campaign objectives.
• Write and edit full-funnel assets including blogs, whitepapers, email sequences, webinar content, and social copy.
• Help concept and produce multimedia content including video scripts and podcast outlines.
• Leverage generative AI tools to streamline drafting, ideation, and content repurposing workflows.
• Conduct light industry research and interviews to ensure content reflects vertical-specific insights.
• Contribute to editorial calendars, campaign planning, and performance reviews.
What you’ll bring:
• 3–5 years of experience in B2B content marketing, copywriting, or editorial roles.
• Strong writing and storytelling skills, with an ability to tailor content for different stages of the funnel.
• Familiarity with the SaaS industry or financial software preferred.
• Comfortable working with AI content tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Writer) as part of your workflow.
• A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and produce content quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Knowledge of SEO principles, digital marketing best practices, and content management systems.
