Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Benefits Specialist for one of their clients. The Benefits Specialist manages daily operations related to employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and various types of leave, ensuring all data is accurate across HR systems and vendor platforms. They communicate benefit details clearly to employees, especially during open enrollment, using multiple channels to keep everyone informed. As a subject matter expert, they handle complex employee questions with empathy and precision. They work closely with insurance carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators to ensure benefit plans are compliant and effective. During open enrollment, they coordinate timelines, vendor tasks, communications, and system updates. They also ensure compliance with laws like the ACA and monitor for regulatory changes. In addition to managing COBRA and wellness programs, they analyze claims data to identify trends and prepare detailed reports. They collaborate with senior consultants on strategy, vendor management, and special projects to continuously improve the benefits experience for employees.

Skills and Requirements
2-4 years of progressive experience in benefits administration
In-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations pertaining to benefits, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, STD, LTD, WC and the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
Proficient in HRIS Systems Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in benefits administration.
Proven expertise with ADP WorkforceNow
Relevant professional certifications
Previous experience actively participating in benefits system upgrades, implementations, or conversions null
