Job Description
We are seeking highly experienced Senior PACS Analysts to join a specialized team focused on resolving major system outages across enterprise imaging environments. This role is ideal for professionals with deep expertise in Merge and/or Change Healthcare PACS, a strong grasp of DICOM standards, and experience supporting both radiology and cardiology imaging systems. Unlike implementation-focused roles, this team will be the first line of defense during critical system failures, ensuring rapid recovery and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide expert-level support during major PACS outages across multiple healthcare facilities
Troubleshoot and resolve complex DICOM and imaging workflow issues
Support both radiology and cardiology PACS systems
Collaborate with internal teams to stabilize and restore imaging systems
Document incident response procedures and contribute to knowledge sharing
Coordinate with modality vendors and clinical teams during high-impact events
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency support

Skills and Requirements
8+ years of experience in PACS administration or support
Proven expertise with Merge PACS and/or Change Healthcare PACS
Strong understanding of DICOM standards, imaging workflows, and modality integration
Experience supporting radiology and cardiology PACS
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
Associate or Bachelors degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) Experience with ancillary or post-processing imaging applications
Familiarity with enterprise imaging environments
Prior experience in incident response or outage management null
