    Job Description

    One of Insight Global's leading pharmaceutical clients is looking for a Software Engineer/Java Developer with strong experience in Java and Kotlin (Kotlin is a big plus for faster onboarding), and a solid background in Spring frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Cloud Stream. A deep understanding of SQL and hands-on experience with relational databases like PostgreSQL (including tools like Flyway) are essential. Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), data streaming technologies such as Kafka or Pub/Sub, and security tools like HashiCorp Vault is important. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable working with OAuth2 for authentication, and using GitHub for version control, including actions and workflows.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Java/Kotlin - Kotlin is a HUGE plus (short hand of Java) (helps decrease the ramp up time)

     

    Spring Development (Spring Data, Spring Cloud Stream, Boot, etc.)

     

    Strong understanding of SQL

     

    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

     

    Data Streaming (e.g. Kafka/PubSub)

    Technology Requirements:

    PostgreSQL/Flyway

     

    Hashicorp - security focused

     

    OAuth2 Client and Resource Server

     

    GitHub, including actions and workflows Relational database platform experience (e.g. PostgreSQL) null
