What we want
The Software Applications Developer I, under direction, designs, develops, modifies, and enhances custom software applications and databases for many departments at Texas A&M University and provides consulting and technical support to users of custom application software. Proficiency in designing and developing software solutions, strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines with high accuracy and professionalism, and adeptness at multitasking and customer service are essential.

Salary: $55,000
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience and four months (1 semester) of student worker and/or customer service experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
+ Experience in Software Development & Maintenance, Requirements & Design, and Testing & Deployment
+ Experience with Customer & Technology Support
+ Experience with Python and Django highly preferred
+ Experience with Responsive Web Design. Experience with ASP.Net Visual Studio, C#, VB.Net, SQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, Version Control, Development Libraries & API’s, and Front-End Frameworks
