This hourly position will support TOM leaders with the implementation and ongoing management of the new Repair and Maintenance program for TOM Managed Trailer Yards and off-site Yards. This position will provide essential support to the program in tracking maintenance and repair requests, coordinating work with vendors, obtaining quotes, partnering with internal stakeholders, and addressing field questions and concerns. The Maintenance Lead will manage both on-site and off-site requests while coordinating between Transportation Operations Management (TOM), Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME), and third-party vendors. They will streamline request submissions through the internal systems, ensuring proper documentation with descriptions, photographs, and location details.

Key job responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a comprehensive tracking system for all maintenance and repair requests

• Monitor request status and ensure timely completion of work

• Capture data related to Reliability Maintenance Engineering team's processing of on-site maintenance requests

• Coordinate with vendors for scheduling work and obtaining competitive quotes

• Manage quote approval processes within internal tools

• Handle off-site yard location support and escalated issues

• Conduct initial assessments and vendor sourcing/vetting

• Serve as primary point of contact for internal stakeholders

• Facilitate efficient communication between internal and external stakeholders

• Manage and maintain confidential information including but not limited to voice of customer surveys, project financials and data achieves

About the team

Yard Infrastructure Management drives operational excellence through ownership of strategic yard design standards and pre-construction reviews, capital project management, comprehensive yard maintenance programs, network expansion and retrofit initiatives, and sustainable infrastructure solutions.

Basic Qualifications

- High school or equivalent

- 2+ years of data analysis and formula creation in Microsoft Excel experience

- Experience in design and construction project management

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of working with computers and Microsoft Office products and applications experience

- Experience using data to drive root cause elimination and process improvement

- Completed Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or 2+ years Amazon experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $79,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
