    The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) Business Analyst works closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other relevant departments to understand business needs, elicits requirements, and prioritizes automation initiatives by enhancing operational efficiency through RPA, automating repetitive tasks, and improving accuracy and consistency in processes.

    Major Responsibilities:

    + Collaborates with business stakeholders to understand their needs and gather detailed requirements for automation projects

    + Analyzes existing business processes to identify opportunities for automation and improvement.

    + Creates detailed documentation, including Process Design Documents (PDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs), User Stories, to ensure accurate representation of business processes and requirements

    + Works closely with RPA developers, business stakeholders, and other IT teams to ensure the successful implementation of automation solutions

    + Participates in testing and validating automated processes to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected

    + Provides training and support to end-users and stakeholders on the use of automated processes and tools and supports developers by solving bottlenecks to keep projects on time

    + Identifies and implements continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of automated processes

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.

    + 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in an RPA or automation environment

    + 2-5 years working with RPA tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism or Microsoft Power Platform

    + Creating stories in Jira or ADO, scrum ceremonies and sprint planning

    + Gathering requirements and enforcing best practices for automations and agile

    Preferred Job Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience

    + Experience analyzing and organizing data to resolve problems and identify risks and/or improvements

    + Certification / License

    + Business Analyst Certificate or similar certifications

    + UI Path Automation Business Analyst Professional/Associate

    Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:

    + Ability to successfully engage in multiple tasks simultaneously

    + Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and techniques

    + Ability to act as a liaison between the development team and business stakeholders

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group

    + Able to identify opportunities and propose solutions

    + Understands the perspective of the business and end users and apply that understanding to solution proposals

    + Utilize IT Best Practices and IT tools related to application support, implementation, and documentation

    + Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and APIs

    + Understanding of integration methods, data governance principles and agile methodology

    **Physical Demands** : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus. Occasional travel.
