Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team in Boca Raton, Florida. In this role, you will manage high-volume accounts payable and receivable tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial processes. This is an in-office position where you will be an integral part of a collaborative and growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage a high volume of accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision.

• Handle credit card transactions, averaging 3,000 per month, and manage 100 weekly invoices on the payable side.

• Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in financial records.

• Reconcile vendor accounts and general ledger entries to maintain financial accuracy.

• Post financial transactions and ensure proper classification within the accounting system.

• Collaborate with a small team to support charter, repair, and sales-related financial activities.

• Contribute to maintaining organized and efficient financial operations within the department. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with 8-10 years preferred.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop is essential.

• Strong knowledge and experience in handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Excellent data entry skills, including numeric data entry, with a high level of accuracy.

• Ability to reconcile vendor and general ledger accounts effectively.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Degree in accounting is not required but is a plus.
