Description

Robert Half is recruiting a Commercial Litigation Associate for the Marin office (hybrid telecommute OK) of its large statewide law firm client. This Associate will join the Complex Litigation Practice Group and will be a key contributor to the expansion of the firm’s private sector litigation practice in Northern California. This practice represents the firm’s technology, software, app-base, and other innovative business clientele.

Responsibilities:

• Handle complex business tort, civil litigation, employment disputes, and intellectual property infringement lawsuits

• Draft motions and other court documents for various legal proceedings

• Conduct extensive legal research and analysis to support case strategy development

• Manage client relationships and provide legal advice regarding commercial dispute and breach of contract matters

• Participate in discovery processes to gather necessary evidence for cases

• Represent clients in court proceedings and depositions

The target salary is $125,000 - 185,000+/yr, DOE, plus bonuses ranging from $7,000 to $20,000+, depending on amount of hours billed. Requirements • Proven experience in commercial litigation, including handling complex cases.

• Strong background in employment litigation and intellectual property disputes.

• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.

• Exceptional communication and client relationship management skills.

• Admission to the California State Bar and good standing.

• Familiarity with litigation procedures, discovery processes, and courtroom advocacy.

• A proactive approach to problem-solving and case management.
