    Description

    We are looking for an experienced CPA/Tax manager to join our team in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance, planning, and client relations to ensure the highest standards of service.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the preparation and review of complex tax returns for diverse entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations.

    • Develop and implement strategic tax planning initiatives, staying informed on changes to tax laws and policies.

    • Foster strong client relationships by providing personalized tax advice and solutions.

    • Supervise and mentor tax staff, encouraging growth and skill development.

    • Identify and pursue business development opportunities to expand the firm’s client base.

    • Utilize advanced tax software to optimize processes and enhance efficiency.

    • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced degree or CPA

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.

    • In-depth knowledge of tax codes and regulations, coupled with strong analytical skills.

    • Proficiency in tax software such as UltraTax, or similar platforms.

    • C-Corp, S-Corp and 1040s

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage client relationships.

    • Ability to identify and implement process improvements in tax practices.

    • Experience with business development and strategic planning initiatives.
