Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a vital part in managing financial records, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the overall accounting function. This position offers an excellent opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop expertise in various accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update the general ledger to ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing journal entries and reconciling accounts.

• Ensure compliance with accounting standards by applying proper cut-off procedures and accurate classifications.

• Prepare financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports on a regular basis.

• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, promptly identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

• Collaborate with teams such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury to streamline and enhance accounting processes.

• Provide responses and support to management and other departments regarding financial inquiries and reports. Requirements • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.

• Strong experience with bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

• Skilled in preparing journal entries and managing month-end close processes.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and meet deadlines.
