Description

We’re working with a respected leader in the distribution industry to identify a Special Billings Specialist for a high-impact, temp-to-hire opportunity based in Fort Worth. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy solving billing challenges, and have experience with portal invoicing, this could be the perfect fit.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Process and manage $4–$5 million in monthly billings across 40–80 active customer accounts

+ Handle billing for multi-location clients, each with specific invoicing requirements

+ Submit accurate and timely portal-based invoices in accordance with customer terms

+ Proactively resolve complex and delayed invoices — this role requires ownership, not avoidance

+ Ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistency in all billing activity

+ Collaborate with internal departments to clarify billing issues and expedite resolution

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a similar role.

• Proficiency in using accounting software systems, including Epic Software.

• Familiarity with tools like Accurint and ADP - Financial Services.

• Strong knowledge of collection processes and billing functions.

• Excellent communication skills for handling inbound calls and client interactions.

• Ability to work with CRM tools to manage customer relationships effectively.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for maintaining accurate records.

• Knowledge of claim administration and dispute resolution processes.
