    Job Title: Senior Associate -M& A

     

    Salary: $90-120k

     

    Jennifer Fukumae with Robert Half is partnering with a firm specializing exclusively in financial due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. Our team of seasoned financial and accounting advisors brings decades of experience supporting private equity firms, individual investors, lenders, and corporate buyers through every stage of the deal process.

    Responsibilities:

    + Conduct detailed evaluations of target company financials, focusing on the quality of earnings, cash flow analysis, balance sheet health, and overall financial integrity.

    + Take an active role in team collaboration, maintaining open communication and building strong working relationships across all levels of the deal team.

    + Develop advanced Excel models and data outputs to support financial analysis and transaction insights.

    + Handle multiple engagements simultaneously, demonstrating flexibility, efficiency, and strong organizational skills in a fast-paced environment.

    + Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights, highlighting key drivers and trends.

    + Create polished client deliverables in PowerPoint that clearly communicate key findings and recommendations.

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of relevant experience, ideally with progression to or readiness for manager-level responsibilities

    + Current or prior experience at a Big 4 firm, preferably within audit or transaction advisory/due diligence teams

    + CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA licensure (must have passed at least 2–3 sections)

    + Strong academic performance, with a GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred

    + Advanced Excel proficiency; candidates will be required to complete an Excel-based case study as part of the interview process

    + Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

    + Excellent communication skills, with a natural curiosity and proactive mindset to ask questions and engage thoughtfully in the work
