Job Title: Pilot Plant Associate/ Engineer
Job Summary:
The Pilot Plant Associate is responsible for executing tasks that support pilot batching and material handling operations. This includes cleaning equipment, organizing the facility and supplies, assisting with warehouse inventory management, staging raw materials for pilot batches, and performing other duties as needed.
**Pay Rate:** The anticipated wage for this position is between $ 25 and $ 25.74
Hourly wage depends upon experience, education, geographic location and other factors.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Follow all company policies and practices, including but not limited to quality, environmental, safety, and health procedures.
+ Set up equipment and instruments, and stage raw materials and supplies to ensure smooth batching and analysis of pilot batches.
+ Maintain accurate records of pre-weigh batches and adjustment materials as needed.
+ Manage storage of pilot bulk and components in Kardex and flammable storage areas.
+ Label excess raw materials and bulk for destruction and removal in compliance with cGMP, DEP, and company guidelines.
+ Clean and sanitize equipment and maintain cleanliness and organization of the washroom.
+ Perform basic analytical testing such as pH, viscosity, and specific gravity, as required.
+ Carry out additional duties as assigned by the manager or based on business needs.
Required Education and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or chemical engineering.
+ 2+ years of experience in a process equipment or manufacturing environment. Recent graduates with relevant internship experience or a scientific degree will also be considered.
Assignment Details:
+ **Type:** Temporary
+ **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
