    Job Description

    Vice President Commercial Business and Customer Support, is responsible for leading all commercial engagements across a diverse range of customer segments, including emergency medical services, law enforcement, corporate transport, utility segments. This role involves managing and nurturing relationships with a broad customer base. This Executive fosters close working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the customer support and business development organization's efficient operation and success.

     

    • Implements and drives strategic planning, sales, revenue forecasting, marketing, and budgeting processes; establishes high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches

    • Develops and executes a sales strategy to achieve sales and margin budgets, as established by Business and management team.

    • Develops and maintains relationships with key customers at multiple levels; Provides knowledge and experience-based leadership to the business (particularly customer support team, operations, and finance) to guide effective decision-making and continuous improvement. Partners in the development of the annual revenue plan. Prepares forecasts, including significant input into strategic planning and the direction of the business. Reports and tracks performance against plan for all aspects of the customer support and business development group across a variety of key performance metrics. Implements metrics to generate data and tracking for decision making. Interacts regularly with executive leadership, balancing a drive for accountability to plans/program and the maintenance of effective business relationships. Oversees the collaboration with business development team to increase the effectiveness of customer/segment specific initiatives. Makes recommendations to Executive leadership on approaches to increase revenue.

    • Manages subordinate supervisors who supervise employees in all Units of Operations. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Develops funding for the departments that encompass Operations from an annually administered budget from President/CEO.

    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

    • Employee holds confidential and sensitive information that could lead to damage to reputation and/or competitive posture and could pose a high risk of major damage to the organization if an error was to occur.

    • Responsible for the professional development and leadership of over 75 aviation professionals.

    Job Requirements

    • 10+ year of progressive experience in a business development, customer support, or sales role within the aerospace industry preferably in the helicopter industry and 5+ years in aviation operating experience; bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Management, Finance or relevant field

    • Possess a keen understanding of the entire business development/customer support value chain; from lead identification to closure/cash. Proven track record of successful and documented business growth.

    • Strong interpersonal and team building skills; ability to work with a diverse team and influence/drive change across functional and business boundaries.

    • Experience working in a multinational environment

    • Collaborative leadership style with a "one company" mindset.

    • Excellent communication with interpersonal and analytical skills.

    • Self-starter with unquestionable integrity

    • Training Academy-Approximately 90 Maintenance or Pilot courses taught each year with a staff of six. This is a approximately 2.0mil business growing at 15%-20% per year

    • Inventory Pool-On site inventory of engines, modules and accessories used in support of US and Internationally based customers. Team of five professionals with an inventory level of greater than 100Mil

    • Customer Support-Twenty support professionals supporting our various customers nationwide with around the clock support
