VCA Beech Rd Animal Hospital i** s seeking an enthusiastic and proactive **Licensed Veterinary Technician** to join our leadership team as a **Technician Supervisor.

Schedule:

+ Full-time, 4 x 10 hour shifts ; with rotating Saturdays.

About The Role:

Being the Veterinary Technician Supervisor means you are a believer in the possibilities of high-quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen. You will work alongside our Medical Director and Hospital Manager to provide mentorship, ensure the hospital runs efficiently and fosters a winning environment. You will have the opportunity to build your leadership skills and have a clear career path.

In addition to all Veterinary Technician responsibilities, duties will include, but are not limited to:

+ Implementing department policies and procedures.

+ Scheduling staff and conducting team meetings.

+ Accurately handling and recording controlled drugs.

+ Interviewing, training and mentoring new and existing staff.

+ Delivering employee performance feedback.

+ Monitoring day-to-day activities and engaging with support staff.

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

+ Licensed Veterinary Technician (CVT, LVT, or RVT).

+ 3+ years of clinical experience in veterinary medicine

+ Proven team leadership experience.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

+ Passion for veterinary medicine and elevating team performance.
