Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience in software development.

+ 7 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.

+ 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

+ 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.

+ 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

+ 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

+ Experience with software architecture for Spreadsheet.

+ Experience in system optimization, architecture trade-offs, latency measurement, large-scale data processing and ability to think in a globally strategic manner to develop innovative system design solutions.

The Sheets Performance and Scale team is responsible to deliver a large spreadsheet experience. This team works on supporting spreadsheet, involving the understanding of the web application stack that includes memory usage and optimization, WASM-GC application on browser, Sheets engine optimization, Data representing and Latency optimization across the stack.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
