Job Title: QA Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer - Raleigh, NC - Hybrid

+ We are seeking a highly skilled Software QA Automation Engineer to join our software test development team. You will be responsible for designing and developing test cases to verify software applications against both functional and non-functional requirements, automating these test cases, and working closely with development teams to ensure product quality and efficacy. This role requires candidates to be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance (SoleUS Citizen)

+ Job Responsibilities:

+ Work closely with Development Teams to understand product requirements, application design, and workflows to create effective functional tests.

+ Execute test scripts and thoroughly document all defects identified during test executions.

+ Actively participate in the development and improvement of existing test cases.

+ Create and maintain test suites, test plans, and test reports.

+ Develop, update, and maintain system tests (functional/black-box) using both UI and API.

+ Develop performance and scalability tests.

+ Develop User Acceptance Tests.

+ Develop Automated Regression Tests using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar scheduling platforms.

+ Skills & Qualifications:

+ 3+ years of professional automation experience using Python/PyTest, Selenium, Cucumber, WebDriverIO

+ Ability to adapt to Agile Scrum Software Development methodologies within a cross-functional team.

+ Experience using WebDriverIO, Selenium, or Cucumber to create automated tests for front-end programming languages

+ Additional:

+ Preferred 3 years of experience in developing and executing performance, load, and scalability tests using JMeter.

+ Experience using Postman or similar technologies for executing manual and automated API tests.

+ Experience with Xray, TestRail or other test management tools.

+ AWS experience, infrastructure (pulling dependencies and run tests in containers)

+ Experience using AI tools for test development is a plus.

+ This opportunity does not support C2C/sponsorship. Candidates must be able to work W-2 and must be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
