    Work location: Texas Health Dallas - 8200 Walnut Hill Lane Dallas, Texas

     

    Work hours: PRN "as needed" - Possible rotating schedule Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7am-3:30pm (days and hours are subject to change based on business needs)

     

    Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington from 8am-5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire.

    Here’s What You Need

    + Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or relevant field required. Four years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree is required.

    + 1 year of health care or non-profit agency experience with a Bachelor's degree is required or

    + 5 years of health care or non-profit agency experience with no degree is required and

    + Volunteer management experience is preferred

    + Sound judgment and character assessment, excellent human relations an oral/written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word. Demonstrated database ability. Demonstrated organizational ability.

    What You Will Do

    + Manages volunteer application process, including, screening/interviewing, training, initial placement, replacement of all volunteers and supports the completion of compliance requirements of all volunteers.

    + Manages volunteer programs within the hospital, including but not limited to critical areas; information desks, surgery waiting room and flower delivery, addressing staffing needs, communication, problem solving and counseling.

    + Manages summer student volunteer (SERV) program, including leadership recruitment, interviewing, volunteer prospect recruitment, training, and supervision.
