    As a Laborer for our Civil West Division, here in Denver, CO you will contribute to our team by:

    POSITION SUMMARY

    + Performs work in the installation, replacement, maintenance, and repair of rebar, concrete, piping and mechanical as well as the movement of materials such as dirt, debris and core materials.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    + Does work without detailed supervision, working from instructions by a Lead Man or Foreman.

    + Demolishes, installs, replaces, maintains and repairs concrete slabs and walls, rebar, form work, piping and mechanical.

    + Excavates, moves and fills in dirt, sludge and/or debris.

    + Moves and preps materials for the day’s work, general job site clean-up.

    + Must be able to follow safety guidelines.

    + Ability to tape measurements.

    + General knowledge of the use of power tools.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    + Arm, hand, and finger dexterity with both hands involved in activities such as reaching, handling, and feeling—and with good eyesight.

    + Should be able to navigate through the work-site on a daily basis.

    + Able to climb up and down ladders, scaffolding, stairs.

    + Must be able to work in extreme temperatures, in confined spaces, high places, and in excavated areas.

    + May work around chemicals, near grinding and torching and/or near cranes, heavy equipment.

    + Work in close contact with other peoples, employees, or subcontractors.

    + Good communication and teamwork skills.

    + Extensive bending and squatting, on feet 8 hours per day.

    The hourly range for this position is between $20.00 and $24.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

     

    We anticipate this requisition will be open for a minimum of five days, though it may be open for a longer period of time. We encourage your prompt application.
