Description
The primary responsibility of a United Off Premise Sales Representative is selling United products to customers in order to maintain and grow United’s market share. An Off Premise Sales Representative is knowledgeable about United’s portfolio and educates the customer while selling United products. The Off Premise Sales Representative manages marketing within accounts, holds tastings of products with customers in order to sell new items, and uses United systems to bill orders, look at sales numbers, and track progress towards goals. This position is perfect for a self-motivated, competitive individual who thrives in situations requiring a high level of collaboration, organization, interpersonal skills, and creativity.
Qualifications
+ Must be 21 years or older• High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required• 1-3 years of sales experience preferred• Restaurant/Bar/Industry experience preferred• CSW, CSS, or Cicerone certification preferred• Valid driver’s license for applicable state• Valid auto liability insurance for applicable state• Ability to secure and maintain a State Alcohol Sales Permit in accordance with state laws
Responsibilities:
• Build and sustain business relationships with key accounts in a given geographic area for key brands• Track sales/distribution and work with assigned accounts to achieve monthly and quarterly sales objectives• Develop, merchandise, display and implement specific brand building programs in target accounts• Ensure brands are advertised at the point of purchase• Educate sales representatives and retailers on United’s wine, beer, and non-alcoholic portfolio• Perform training seminars in accounts promoting a specific product line• Work with the sales and marketing teams to yield greatest distribution and sales volume results• Assist in brand special events• Host events in accounts, festivals, events, etc.• Receive programming from management to implement and design programs in accounts• Organize consumer samplings• Work some extended hours and weekends as needed• Drive to all call points• Perform other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:
• Able to maintain very high proficiency and job standards while working in a non-temperature controlled environment that includes exposure to heat, high humidity, and inclement weather• Able to work occasionally in refrigerated areas• Exposure to smoke and dust in certain accounts• Able to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise levels
Physical Requirements and Essential Functions:
• Regular, reliable attendance required• Must work some weekends and extended hours as needed• Able to drive a vehicle for extended periods of time• Able to talk and hear, stand and walk, sit, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel• Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs), with some overhead lifting required• Able to frequently climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch• Able to learn and maintain knowledge of company and products• Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to judge distance
