    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Production Worker in a dynamic food manufacturing environment. You will rotate through various roles, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain sanitary conditions by wearing gloves and switching them out as needed.

    + Supply cups for all cup setter magazines and clear cup paper stuck on cupsetter heads.

    + Ensure correct cup paper size for the product being run and notify relevant personnel if there are missing cup papers.

    + Remove defective products from the inspection belt and perform metal checks every two hours.

    + Reject large quantities of unacceptable products and start and stop the main line when necessary.

    + Perform cleaning duties when the line is down, including cleaning Tonnaer screws and housing.

    + Fill cases with the required number of bags and monitor the integrity of bag seals.

    + Inspect wrapped products and reset the main line after wrapping stops.

    + Rotate through stations in a timely fashion and perform finished product quality tracking.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, general labor, packaging, food production, and food manufacturing.

    + Ability to work both 2nd and 3rd shifts, with training provided on the 1st shift.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in packing, picking, cleaning, and hand packing.

    + Must have steel or composite-toed shoes.

    + Compliance with dress code including wearing pants without rips, hair net/beard net, jacket, hard hat, gloves, and no jewelry.

    This is a Contract position based out of Hershey, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
