Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Join a dynamic team dedicated to manufacturing ammunition for military use. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on robots, conveyors, sensors, servo motors, HMIs, PLCs, cameras, assembly lines, laser printers, and inkjets. This role involves working with both manual mills and lathes, as well as CNC machines in a machine shop setting. You will also participate in facilities maintenance, including HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning tasks, alongside preventative maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and troubleshooting on various equipment including robots, conveyors, sensors, servo motors, HMIs, PLCs, cameras, assembly lines, laser printers, and inkjet printers.

+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting, focusing on PLCs, low voltage circuits, and 480v 3-phase systems.

+ Assist with machining, assembly, and wiring of parts in a machine shop setting.

+ Engage in facilities maintenance tasks such as HVAC, plumbing, and assembling furniture.

+ Execute preventative maintenance on facility equipment.

+ Participate in special projects as needed.

Essential Skills

+ 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

+ Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and repair

+ Experience with 3-phase electrical systems

+ Ability to perform preventative maintenance

+ Knowledge of facilities maintenance

+ Ability to interpret blueprints

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 2 years of experience in automation or working with robots

Work Environment

Work the 1st shift from 6 am to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. The facility is climate-controlled and very clean, consisting of two adjacent buildings. You will work alongside two other technicians on the 2nd shift, and there is flexibility for working additional hours before your shift or on Fridays. The shop is well-organized, promoting a clean and efficient work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
