    Job Description

    Change Specialist Health System Operations-Corporate- Full-Time Days-Hybrid

     

    The Change Specialist will play a critical role in driving the successful adoption of strategic initiatives and transformation programs across the health system. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies that maximize employee engagement, minimize resistance, and ensure smooth transitions during organizational change. The Change Specialist will work closely with clinical, operational, and administrative teams to ensure initiatives meet objectives on time and within scope.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in business administration, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or related field required.

    + Master?s degree preferred.

    + Minimum 5 years of experience in change management, organizational development, health care operations, or process improvement

    + Experience with large-scale projects and cross-functional teams

    + Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.

    + Strong problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

    + Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-change healthcare environment.

    + Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop and implement comprehensive change management strategies and plans to support system-wide initiatives

    + Plan and oversee change initiatives: implement structured methods, assess readiness / risks and drive stakeholder engagement

    + Collaborate with project managers, leadership, and department heads to integrate change activities into project plans

    + Identify and manage anticipated resistance; develop mitigation tactics to support adoption

    + Design and deliver change communications, training plans, and engagement activities that support a smooth transition

    + Establish performance metrics and tracking plans for change initiatives

    + Serve as liaison between project team and operations in monitoring change adoption

    + Contribute to the development of a change management framework and toolkit across the organization

    + Ensure alignment of change activities with the health system’s mission, values, and patient-centered approach

    Compensation Statement

    Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $79720 - $110000 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
