    ASO is currently seeking Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Lead to support the Eagle LSS Contract in Fort Sill, OK. In general, the work of the Motor Vehicle Mechanic, Lead requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent.

    Responsibilities

    + Repairs, rebuilds, or overhauls major assemblies of internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks or tractors.

    + Diagnoses the source of trouble and determines the extent of repairs required.

    + Replaces worn or broken parts such as piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors; overhauling transmissions.

    + Repairs fuel injection, lighting, and ignition systems.

    + Identification as LEAD, adds administrative duties to the standard labor category.

    + Administrative duties include personnel accountability, timekeeping, drafting and submitting reports, creating a safety culture, and enforcing company/contract requirements and standards.

    Qualifications

    + Must have a minimum of two years of motor vehicle maintenance experience.

    + Must be knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.

    + Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.

    + Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.

    + Must be able to bring and use your own tools.

    + Must be able to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result.

    Desired Qualifications:

    + 3-5 years of maintenance experience preferred.

    + US Army MOS 91/63 series qualification.

    + Experience on US Army tactical vehicles.

    + CDL preferred.

    + Valid Driver's License preferred.

    Physical Demands:

    + Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.

    + Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 60 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
