About the Job
The ideal candidate will be a data-driven, detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and reporting best practices. The position will contribute to driving ESG disclosure and transparency by managing the data collection, analysis and audit work-streams for sustainability reporting.
+ Collect and analyze data related to the organization's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance. Prepare comprehensive sustainability reports that align with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., GRI, TSCF, SASB)
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and ensure data accuracy. Communicate sustainability initiatives and performance to internal and external stakeholders
+ Develop annual Company progress report (Sustainability Report). Stay up-to-date with the latest sustainability reporting trends, voluntary and regulatory reporting requirements
+ Identify opportunities to enhance scores by developing expertise in ratings methodologies. Manage the end-to-end GHG Inventory and assurance processes within timeline.
+ Document and create data processes to support external assurance activities and information requests while ensuring the integrity, timeliness, and completeness of the assigned reporting.
+ Benchmark best practices and provide recommendations to continue improving ESG data disclosures.
+ Proactively identify and recommend process and technology solutions to continuously optimize the data collection, verification and audit processes.
+ Product Stewardship: Manage the response to external sustainability requests, surveys, product information requests, and other regulatory reporting, certifications, or otherwise (REACH, TSCA etc.).
+ Employees are expected to perform other responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree or 5-10 years of experience in a related field
+ Experience: Experience quantifying climate risk across asset classes preferred. Experience with Materiality Assessments or equivalent issue prioritization and evaluation processes preferred.
+ Licenses: Valid Driver’s License required.
+ Skills: Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, standards, and best practices. Proficient in data analysis, research, and report writing. Familiarity with or ability to learn reporting tools like Workiva, EcoVadis and Sedex or tools serving similar functions preferred. Life Cycle Assessment and Product Carbon Footprint calculations skills preferred.
+ Abilities: Able to work collaboratively in a multi-functional global team environment with the ability to foster collaborative relationships. Ability to distill and communicate complex details and data into consumable insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
+ Behavior: Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmental and social responsibility.
+ Travel: Travel up to 5%
