    Are you a strategic retail planner with strong leadership and forecasting experience?

     

    We’relooking for a Demand PlanningLeadto oversee our regional retail demand plan across both physical and digital channels.You’lllead a high-performingteam, drive forecasting for exclusive products, and help shape global planning through advanced tools like o9.

     

    This is a key role connecting insight, operations, and commercial impact across the business.

    Core Responsibilities

    + Overall plan accountability: Secure the overall quality and delivery of the regional, item level demand plan, for both on-line and physical stores, across an up-to21-month horizon.Planincludes both consumer sales andselling-in requirements.

    + Exclusives planning: Hands on responsibility for the forecast of a subset of products delivering high value to the LEGO Retail business. Working closely with marketing, business owners and other key partners to ensure that the forecast reflects all relevant inputs.

    + Team leadership: Lead a highly motivated and engaged planning team, consisting of 5 employees. This includes ongoing feedback, personal development, performance evaluation, KPIsetting, and task management.

    + Leverage the o9 planning system to align processes, recommend features, and drive a transition towards exception-based planning, minimizing reliance on offline tools for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

    + Regional collaboration: Work closely with regional LEGO Retail Allocation and Merchandising teams to ensure consistency and effectiveness of end-to-end retail planning and execution.

    + Global alignment: Work with counterparts in EMEA and APAC to ensuregloballyalignedprocess. Share assumptions to ensure the regional storyline makes sense in the context of the overall global plan.

    + Regional S&OP process: Ensure adherence to regional monthly S&OP process which delivers a plan built on a strong set of assumptions, with sign-off from local business owners.

    + Global S&OP process: Work with global S&OPleadto secure regional input on risks and opportunities to the plan. Activelyparticipatein the monthly Global Demand Review meeting, being able to speak to questions related to the regional plan.

    The LEGO Retail Planning team, part of the RPMI function, is central to the LEGO Retail business. We collaborate closely with various teams and functions throughout the organization to create a comprehensive item-level plan by region and channel, extending up to21 monthsinto the future.

     

    The ideal candidate will have the capability to influence and refine our LEGO Retail AMS plan, taking charge of the monthly submissions that encompass both consumer sales and selling in. Additionally, they will play a key role in developing future processes for the team, focusing on how we can effectivelyutilizethe o9 planning system.

     

    Do you** **have** **what it takes?

     

    + Proven planning experience preferably within a retail environment, covering digital & physical channels.

    + Ability to assess plan feasibility at both high & low levels andidentifyareas requiring further focus with team.

    + Abilityto effectively communicate and articulate the key aspects of a demand plan through compelling storytelling, ensuring alignment and engagement among partners at all levels.

    + Previousexperience using planning tools/systems and ability to identify & recommend product development opportunities to improve efficiency.

    + Proactive in seeking out the latest data to improve plan accuracy and always focused on delivering outstanding results across all forecast KPIs.

    + Demonstrates strong collaboration skills across various functions,culturesand management levels.

    + Demonstrates leadership experience including supporting team members and leading cross functional meetings with senior stakeholders.

    + Experience leading processchangein a global setting. Gets energy from creating new ways of working,establishingnewframeworksand ensuring process governance

    + Experience with using big data and statistical modelling into the planning process

    Compensation

     

    The salary for this position has a range of $139,672.00 - $209,508.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
