Intro:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in analyzing financial data, developing forecasts, preparing reports, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.

Description:

• Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and recommendations to management.

• Develop, maintain, and improve financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and track business performance against targets and budgets.

• Prepare variance analysis to explain discrepancies between actual performance and forecasts/budgets.

• Assist in developing and monitoring financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

• Support the preparation of presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.

• Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and business cases.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies during financial reporting and analysis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• 1-3 years of experience in investment banking, with strong analytical and financial modelling skills.

• Proficiency in financial modelling, budgeting, and forecasting techniques.

• Strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

• Excellent analytical skills with a proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear insights.

• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

• Adaptability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Hybrid schedule: 3 days a week in-office in New York, and 2 days remote.
