We are hiring immediately for a full time, Equipment Maintenance Technician. With a culture rooted in continuous improvement, this role is mission critical.
Your role:
As an Equipment Maintenance Technician, you can expect to be our go-to for driving continuous improvement in the equipment and & maintenance process. More specifically, in this role, you:
+ Functional knowledge and skills in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, pneumatic, and electronic factory equipment.
+ Diagnose equipment failures, find root cause and communicate actions taken to the rest of the team. Detailed record-keeping of actions taken in equipment logs.
+ Perform preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with established PM schedules and methods. Take initiative to improve PM documentation and methods.
+ Assist in design, fabrication, and qualification of new manufacturing equipment.
+ Basic use of powered hand tools for cutting and grinding of metal fixtures.
+ Perform major equipment repairs and rebuilds (some weekends and holidays required).
+ Properly identify parts and supplies needed to support repairs and upgrades of equipment. Obtain quotes and order parts from suppliers.
+ Assist engineers and factory managers with installation and relocation of process equipment. Assist in performing production line safety reviews and equipment reliability qualifications.
+ Perform hazard and ergonomic assessments and resulting upgrades of new and existing process equipment.
+ Follow established safety and change management processes.
+ May require travel to other sites or equipment vendors’ locations on occasion (approx. 2-3 times per year).
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
+ Assist higher level technicians in troubleshooting more complex equipment problems.
+ Mentor lower level maintenance technicians.
+ Troubleshoot complex equipment issues.
+ Maintain equipment to established PM cycles.
+ Write equipment specs, support design reviews, interface with equipment vendors on equipment SOWs.

Qualifications - External
Requirements:
+ 7+ years experience in Automation maintenance knowledge.
+ PLC knowledge required. Laser systems knowledge required.
+ General electrical and mechanical knowledge; basic math skills; able to read blueprints and schematics Pneumatic and hydraulic knowledge required.
+ MIG/TIG Welding skills are desirable but are not required.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.
Pay Range
The salary range for this position in local currency is 52200.00 - 96900.00
