Job Summary

As a District Chef with Flik Independent School Dining, you will oversee culinary operations across 24 accounts in Connecticut, supporting a total management volume of approximately $45 million. Our team is high-reaching and dedicated to delivering extraordinary culinary experiences. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our operations run detailed and our clients are especially satisfied.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Coordinate multiple corporate dining accounts

+ Instruct, train, and mentor chefs

+ Drive innovation across all accounts

+ Lead cost controls and control expenditures

+ Plan and build menus

+ Coordinate purchasing and inventory management

+ Improve the skill levels of regional chefs

+ Implement new culinary programs in collaboration with the marketing and culinary teams

+ Develop strategies to improve customer experience

+ Provide training to ensure consistent, high-quality food

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Preferred culinary degree

+ Minimum of five years of culinary management experience

+ At least two years of multi-site culinary management experience

+ High volume production and catering experience

+ Confirmed experience in leading cost controls

+ Eager to learn and grow with an outstanding foodservice company
