Position: Quality and Accreditation Manager
Job Status: Full Time; Monday - Friday, occasional weekend
Required Skills:
+ Self-motivated, critical thinker with initiative and ability to proactively identify opportunities and take action
+ Highly organized with the ability to handle simultaneous multiple assignments and frequent interruptions
+ Must be able to collaborate with various teams to implement quality initiatives and address quality-related concerns
+ Responsible for the development of departmental policies, procedures, goals, and objectives
+ Responsible for DNV hospital compliance and coordinating accreditation activities to enhance the quality of patient care
+ Responsible for ensuring that the requirements of the quality management system are implemented and maintained; planning, implementing, and managing quality improvement
+ Responsible for leadership of the internal audit program to assess compliance with quality standards and identify areas for improvement
+ Responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying trends, and implementing corrective actions to address any issues
+ Responsible for promoting a culture of quality and continuous improvement
+ Acts as occasional RN supervisor in long term care
+ Assists Infection Preventionist with data collection and reporting
Qualifications:
+ Three to five years of experience in a healthcare setting with exposure to quality management or accreditation standards
+ RN license (in good standing for the State of Michigan)
Reports to: Chief Nursing Officer
