Description
The DRIP (Dirt, Rivers, Ice, Particles) Lab is seeking a Research Scientist. The scientist will conduct independent research in the field of geomorphology, including but not limited to studies of river and hillslope erosion, granular physics, experimental, modeling, field, and theoretical work. The research scientist will also act as lab manager; will contribute to mentoring students and postdocs in the lab; will have the opportunity to teach 1-2 undergraduate or graduate level courses per year; and will be able to submit their own research grants. The initial term will be for 3 years, with the possibility of renewing the contract at the end of 3 years.
