    Our Perioperative Services department provides full support throughout the duration of a patient's surgical procedure, spanning ward admission, anesthesia, surgery and recovery. Professional care services include identification of the patient’s individual needs, patient care plan development and implementation and the coordination of nursing service to restore each patient’s health before, during and after a surgical procedure.

     

    If you enjoy working with people and believe in warm, compassionate health care, you could be the next Nurse Practitioner in our General Surgery department. In this role, you will deliver direct patient care, including evaluation, treatment and technical procedures to a specific group of patients, as well as provide health education, referrals to other disciplines, and consultation with other allied health personnel. We are looking for someone dedicated and experienced, with excellent care and communication skills and a commitment to our vision of delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people.

    Other information:

    **Minimum Qualifications:** Current Hawaii RN License. Current Hawaii APRN License. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR card. Two (2) years of experience in nursing area of specialty.

    **Preferred Qualifications:** Completion of a nurse practitioner program. One (1) year advanced practical experience. Teaching and/or public speaking experience.
