The Financial Systems Analyst provides functional and technical application support to financial system(s) users. Assists in the implementation of new modules and/or processes. The incumbent is responsible for supporting the operations and finance leadership teams by leveraging systems experience to develop and maintain customized reports, dashboards, business analytic tools to efficiently and effectively manage the business. Duties include collaborating with IT and finance staff to meet business requirements; may be responsible for end user training.

+ **ESSENTIAL JOB** **DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:**
+ Provides operational and technical production support of Workday financial component and other core financial systems to end users.Fields, prioritizes, and completes end user requests.
+ Designs, develops, maintains, and enhances computerized finance-related systems.
+ Ensures that financial modules are working effectively and efficiently and proper security is in place.
+ Prepares data sets, statistical reports, and computer applications to support financial analysis work.
+ Identifies root cause of issues and collaborates with IT to develop and implement solutions.
+ Updates and maintains business process documentation as it relates to system functionality.
+ Defines and documents requirements for configuration and custom developed software products.
+ Assists with making minor enhancements through an agile software development life cycle.Responsible for launching data integrations.
+ Analyzes client processes, develops detailed functional requirements, and translates requirements into technical designs.
+ Collaborates with IT to ensure that technical design, unit and functional testing, deployment, and implementation meets business requirements and properly documented.
+ Performs functional testing and quality assurance activities.
+ Identifies opportunities for system new functionality for better alignment to business processes.
+ Maintains account posting rules, custom validations and other system logic. Investigates posting discrepancies and business process errors.
+ Creates, develops and maintains system-generated financial reports.
+ Responsible for data integrity reviews and other quality control tasks.
+ Maintains role assignment matrix.
+ Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.
+ **KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:**
+ Developing professional expertise. Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.
+ Familiar with relational database concepts, object-oriented system structure, system logic and report writing
+ General knowledge of computer information systems; possesses the ability to design, develop, maintain, and enhance these systems.
+ General knowledge of the financial industry and functional knowledge of financial analytics.
+ Ability to write and run reports using the computer information system.
+ Able to type accurately and efficiently
+ Knowledge of process improvement.
+ Ability to complete data mining.
+ Knowledge of database concepts.
+ Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and database software.
+ Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally, and nationwide up to 10% of the time.
+ Spoken and written fluency in English.
+ This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:
+ Bachelor'sdegree;experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis above the minimum experience required
+ Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
+ Minimum two(2) years of related experience
+ WorkDayFinancials experience preferred
