Please review the following job description:
This position will support the Treasury Solutions Technology application teams in developing and maintaining automated technical test cases for multiple Treasury applications. The candidate must be a software developer with experience in creating automated test scripts using common software development applications/languages, extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle, testing development lifecycle (manual test planning and execution) and can convert business requirements or Agile User Stories to test scenarios and test cases.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Create automated test scripts using Selenium, Python and Java.
2. Create automated test scripts in various test script applications/tools, including Java, Rally, Visual Basic, GitHub, and Cygwin on Windows.
3. Consistent use of basic Agile principles - Kanban, Scrum, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and other Agile Ceremonies of low to moderate complexity.
4. Responsible for ensuring Truist SDLC, Truist Agile SDLC, Agile Operating Framework and Truist Test Automation Framework are used and appropriately followed.
5. Responsible for delivering the required test artifacts (test plan, traceability matrix, test results, etc.) for each release on schedule and excellent quality.
6. Responsible for coordinating data maintained in Agile Tools is consistent across ARTs to support enterprise-wide requirements.
7. Responsible for creating test cases and test scripts using Agile User Stories, business, and technical requirements
8. Active participant with the Truist Testing Center of Excellence meetings and Agile Communities of Practice.
9. Coordinate with other test leads/tester for cross application dependencies and interface testing validation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree and four to seven years of experience or equivalent education and software engineering training or experience
2. In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement IT best practices
3. Understanding of key business processes and competitive strategies related to the IT function
4. Ability to plan and manage projects and solve complex problems by applying best practices
5. Ability to provide direction and mentor less experienced teammates. Ability to interpret and convey complex, difficult, or sensitive information
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or related degree and eight years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
2. 3 – 4 years of experience in creating test automation scripts using Selenium, Python and Java.
3. 3 Years of Rally tool experience
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience in various test script applications/tools, including Java, Visual Basic, GitHub, and Cygwin on Windows.
5. Knowledge of basic Agile principles - Kanban, Scrum, PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and other Agile Ceremonies of low to moderate complexity.
6. Strong knowledge of and background manual test case development and test execution
7. Strong communication experience (written and oral)
8. Experience in leading testing status and defect remediation meetings
9. Provide consistent project status reports
10. Agile Certified/Enablement experience is preferred
11. Experience in the banking or financial services industry
