    The Opportunity:

    This position will be in our CACI Enterprise Services , where the individual will work under close supervision to prepare and administer purchase orders for materials in accordance with client requirements, government regulations and procurement policies/procedures.

     

    + Typically works on purchasing activities valued up to $150,000.

    + May be assigned higher value tasks with oversight from more senior level staff.

    + Must comply with corporate policies, procedures, and underlying Federal, state, and/or local regulations concerning the purchase and/or shipment of goods, materials, and services.

    Responsibilities:

    + Review requisition, solicit/evaluate bid, recommend and select supplier for award of purchase orders.

    + Negotiate price, quality, delivery and other terms and conditions.

    + Perform oversight on all awarded purchase orders until delivery/completion of goods/services.

    + Coordinate and prioritize activities in a fast-paced environment.

    + Recruit and maintain responsive suppliers providing high quality products and services at fair and reasonable prices.

    + Negotiate with suppliers and settles damage claims, rejections, losses, return of materials, over-shipments, cancellations, and engineering change orders.

    Qualifications:

    _Required:_

    + Typically has a Bachelor’s degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent, and 0 to 2 years of related purchasing experience.

    + Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously.

    + Highly organized with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

    + Attention to details and problem-solving skills.

    _Desired:_

    + Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.

    + Experience in Costpoint and P2P systems is a plus.

    + Knowledge of FAR, DFAR and GSA Schedules.

    + Advanced Excel and Word Document skills.
