    What you will do

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to join our team and support general accounting operations with accuracy, initiative, and innovation. This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial integrity through journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close activities, and data-driven insights. The ideal candidate is analytical, collaborative, and eager to apply both accounting expertise and technology tools to improve processes and support decision-making. This position is located onsite in our Greensboro, NC office.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and enter journal entries into the general ledger in a timely, accurate manner

    • Reconcile account balances and bank statements, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies

    • Lead and support month-end close activities, including reporting and system uploads

    • Maintain and enhance internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

    • Collaborate on finance-related projects and system upgrades or implementations

    • Research and resolve accounting issues by partnering with relevant business teams

    • Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries and requests

    • Provide data and documentation in support of internal and external audits

    • Prepare and analyze financial and non-financial reports for management and stakeholders

    • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement to increase efficiency and accuracy

    • Perform additional accounting-related duties as needed

     

    Who are you?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; CPA designation preferred

    • Prior professional accounting experience, ideally in financial services, is a strong plus

    • Solid understanding of IFRS accounting principles and financial information systems

    • Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced environment

    • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint

    • Experience with data tools such as Power BI and Alteryx strongly preferred

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail

    • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels of the organization

    • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work both independently and collaboratively

    • Comfortable working across departments to resolve issues and enhance processes
