+ POSITION SUMMARY
+ Reports To:
+ Executive Director of HR
+ Summary:
+ The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for recruitment, employee relations, and other day-to-day operations in the Human Resources office. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing training, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.
+ Work Schedule:
+ Exempt position, may work in excess of 40 hours a week.
+ SKILLS & ABILITIES
+ Education
+ Bachelor's degree and 3 to 5 years of Human Resource experience or any similar combination of education and experience.
+ Experience
+ Demonstrated knowledge of the human resources field. Understanding of state and federal employment regulations, awareness of OSHA regulations and compliance, understanding of personnel and compliance records management, strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities. Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality.
+ Computer Skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
+ Certificates & Licenses
+ Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
+ Other Requirements
+ Recruitment experience required; hospital setting preferred. This position requires frequent sitting and use of hands and fingers.
