• Anesthesia Technician - Per Diem Shift St. Mary

    Description:

    Per diem position supports room turnover and anesthesia preparation for next case. weekend and evening rotation.

     

    + Calibrate anesthesia machines

    + Trouble-shoot problems with machines

    + Stock anesthesia supplies

    + Turn over circuit, wipe down machine and lines between surgeries

    + Spike lines

    + Take specimens to the lab

    + Assist in emergencies

    + Set up rapid infuser

    + Set up for cases in other procedural sites in the hospital

    + Check expiration dates

    + Run blood gases and glucose checks

    + Assist with other tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    1. Heart Saver CPR

    2. High School Diploma/Equivalent
