Come join our Patient Access team at Johnson Memorial Hospital, a member of Trinity Health Of New England!
Weekdays only, three evenings (3p-11:30p) and one swing shift (11:30a-8p) - see schedule below
INITIAL ORIENTATION/TRAINING IS M-F DAY SHIFT FOR TWO WEEKS
Position Purpose
Completes patient registrations/pre-registration processes following department procedures. Processes include obtaining accurate demographic, insurance and patient liability information. Responsible for working with multiple department/hospital and web-based systems.
What you will do
+ Perform complete and accurate pre-registrations, registration, and admission functions
+ Verify insurance requirements
+ Obtain and understand insurance benefits
+ Ensure that all entries concerning demographic, financial and advanced directives are
+ Collect non-covered fees
Minimum Qualifications
+ Minimum High school or equivalent
+ One year experience in an accredited hospital or physician's office preferred
+ Knowledge of medical terminology and medical insurances

+ Full time 32 hours - shift differentials will apply
+ Week 1: M 11:30a-8p & W, Th, F 3p-11:30p
+ Week 2: M, T, F 3-11:30p & Th 11:30a-8p
