    Job Summary

    As an Entry-Level CADD Technician at JEO, you will support our transportation engineering teams by transforming design concepts into precise, high-quality technical drawings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is eager to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll work under the guidance of experienced professionals on a variety of roadway and bridge design projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Develop technical drawings and construction plans using CADD software.

    + Assist in preparing staking data and drafting design plans for roadway and bridge projects.

    + Generate profiles, cross-sections, and contours from existing and proposed surfaces.

    + Calculate earthwork volumes (cut and fill) to support design and construction planning.

    + Interpret and draft from engineering plans, profiles, and detail sheets.

    + Collaborate effectively with internal project teams and communicate professionally.

    + Participate in occasional field assignments to support survey and data collection efforts.

    + Represent JEO and our clients with professionalism and integrity.

    Qualifications:

    + Associate degree or certificate in Drafting, CADD, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    + Familiarity with CADD platforms such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley MicroStation, OpenRoads Designer, or OpenBridge Modeler (preferred).

    + Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn technical drafting standards.

    + Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    + Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

    + Basic understanding of surveying and civil/structural engineering concepts is a plus.
