    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Data Engineer to work a hybrid Azure Data Engineering position in San Antonio with one of our Top Oil and Gas clients. The data engineer will be a key contributor in building and maintaining end to end data pipelines for analytics solutions within our Oil& Gas client's Insights & Discovery Platform based on Microsoft Azure Cloud and Azure Synapse Analytics. For the current project, the Engineer will be needed to build data pipelines for midstream and refining teams to aid in the upgrade and improvement of refinery maintenance and mobility. This engineer will be working on this project or have the opportunity to work on incoming projects.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.

     

    At least 12+ years of experience in the IT field

     

    AT LEAST 8+ years of hands on experience in building data pipelines, data models and maintaining/supporting enterprise data warehouse solutions

     

    Strong RECENT experience with Azure Synapse, Synapse Pipeline, and Medallion Architecture

     

    Experience in scaled agile framework for data engineering product delivery

     

    Strong experience with SQL, Python, and PySpark Experience with contextualization products (e.g. Cognite)

     

    Experience with data integration tools (e.g. Qlik Replicate) and with data modeling tools (e.g. Erwin) null
