Job Description
This engineer will be working on the first entirely autonomous production line at this manufacturer. Work is performed in a centralized manufacturing engineering activity or assembly/plant activity where a considerable amount of creativity and initiative is exercised as well as a high level of independent judgment. An ideal candidate for this role has a highly technical background, including both controls and IT experience - specifically within cloud-based software. They will be partnering with a mechanical engineer to work in various capacities across the production environment. This engineer must exercise independent judgement, initiative, and creativity to develop innovative solutions and drive best practice implementation. Work may involve developing, testing, and piloting novel manufacturing technology.

Skills and Requirements
• 8-10 years in robot programming
• PLC experience in Rockwell systems (Studio 5000 and Factory Talk Optix)
• Understanding of Kepware servers and SQL for managing machines/equipment
• Past experience working in a production/manufacturing environment Project lead experience
Past experience on GM projects
Understanding of coding (Java, C++, python)
Training in Otto (highly unlikely to find, they will provide training onsite) null
